They were an early backup band for Linda Ronstadtand the Stone Ponies. Original members included Don Henley, vocals and drums, Glenn Frey, vocals and guitar, Bernie Leadon, banjo, and Randy Meisner, vocals and bass. They were later joined by Don Felder, guitar. Joe Walsh joined after Leadon's departure, and later Timothy B.
